Below, you’ll find the easiest recipe for our BerryBerry Patriotic Grilled Strawberry Shortcake.  It takes absolutely no time to prepare, and tastes amazing! 

Let’s go back to remembering what July 4th is all about, and focus on celebrating it with those we love. Let’s put down our phones and our tablets, log off our work computers, and stay in the moment by keeping things simple; enjoying the sunshine, good food and even better company. Ingredients
  1. 1 Box BerryBerry Patriotic Waffles, defrosted
  2. 1 Pint Strawberries Hulled and Sliced
  3. 2 Tablespoons of butter
  4. 4 Tablespoons of Nature Nate's Honey
  5. 1 Cup Whipped Cream
  6. 4 Mint Leaves
Instructions
  1. Grill waffles over a medium low flame for 1-2 minutes per side. (For extra decadence, you can brush the waffles with a teaspoon of butter on each side prior to grilling). Transfer waffles to a plate
  2. Divide strawberries equally over all 4 waffles
  3. Melt the butter and honey in the microwave for about 30 seconds, making sure to mix until the butter is completely melted
  4. Top each waffle with a drizzle of the honey butter, whipped cream and a mint leaf
