Breakfast doesn’t have to be a big ordeal but it does have to be delicious. Making WaffleWaffle a part of your day does just that. Our waffles require little to no time to make which means, doing more of what you love. Whether that’s getting outside to enjoy the summer, spending more time with the ones you love, or having a crazy wild dance in your kitchen after you realize how easy these recipes are (hey, we don’t judge). With these 6 SUPER simple sweet & savory waffle combinations no full belly will be left behind.

Let’s start with the Savory!

WaffleWaffle

Scrambled Egg, Sausage, & Cheese on Cinnamon Roll

WaffleWaffle

  • What you’ll need (yields 4):

    • 4 Frozen sausage patties
    • 4 slices of cheese..we used white american!
    • 1 Box Cinnamon Roll WaffleWaffle’s – available in Walmart
    • 4 Eggs

First off, if you have never had a SEC or BEC on a Cinnamon Raison bagel you are definitely missing out – YUMMO! So for us choosing our Cinnamon Roll as the carrier for this savory waffle was a no brainer. Besides being super delicious it is SO easy to make.

  1. Start out with your frozen sausage of choice, we used a sausage patty.  Cook accordingly and set aside.
  2. Pop your Cinnamon Roll WaffleWaffle’s into the toaster oven at 400º F for 4-5 minutes. If you don’t have a toaster oven a microwave would work just fine simply place your waffle in the microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds.
  3. While the waffles are heating, scramble up the eggs in a frying pan.
  4. Once the waffles are done; start with the sausage, cheese it (1 slice per waffle), and pile the scrambled eggs on top and DIG IN!

…. Easy huh?

Next up, Fried Chicken & Waffle on Red Velvet

WaffleWaffle

  • What you’ll need (yields 4):

    • 4 Pieces Fried Chicken
    • 1 box Red Velvet WaffleWaffles – available in Walmart
    • Maple Syrup

We have done multiple fried chicken and waffle recipes (click here for our football inspired chicken and waffle sliders) because how could we not? But this was our FIRST attempt with our new Red Velvet waffles available in Walmart, and it might just trump all the others cuz this was just SO good.

WaffleWaffleWaffleWaffle

  1. We took the easy route and went to our local grocery store and actually bought fried chicken right from the hot bar. The nice thing about this is that you can pick and choose the type of chicken you prefer, we went with the breast.
  2. So, whether you’re cooking or simply reheating the chicken that should be your first step.
  3. Heat your Red Velvet waffle in a frying pan with some butter. 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Once the waffle is warmed through place a piece of cooked fried chicken on top and drizzle with maple syrup.

…Get creative with your toppings! We’ve tried honey, sweet heat (if you like things spicy!), & gravy but there are so many possibilities!

Sunny Side up with Bacon on BerryBerry

WaffleWaffleWaffleWaffle

  • What you’ll need:

    • 4 Eggs
    • 8 Pieces of cooked bacon
    • 1 box of BerryBerry Patriotic WaffleWaffles – available in Walmart

Again, if you have NEVER had a Bacon, Egg, & Cheese on a sweet carrier, do it, PLEASE! We took that inspiration and used it for our last savory dish as well.

  1. Start by cooking your bacon. Once cooked, set aside.
  2. Cook 4 eggs – we decided on sunny side up but they’ll be delicious any way you choose!
  3. While you’re cooking the eggs heat your BerryBerry waffle which can be done in a toaster oven at 400 º F for 4-5 minutes. If you don’t have a toaster oven microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds, or warm in your oven for a few minutes.
  4. Assemble!

& now for the Sweet…

WaffleWaffle

Cream Cheese with Blackberry Jam on BerryBerry

WaffleWaffle

  • What you’ll need (yields 4):

    • 1 tub of cream cheese
    • 1 small jar of blackberry jam or jam of choice!
    • 1 box of BerryBerry WaffleWaffles – available in Walmart
  1. Start out by heating your waffles. In case you missed how to cook them simply throw them all in the toaster oven at 400º F for 4-5 minutes. If you don’t have a toaster oven microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds, or warm in your oven for a few minutes.
  2. Allow time for your cream cheese to soften just a bit. Once the waffles are warm spread a dollop of cream cheese on top of the waffle, take a tablespoon or so of blackberry jam and spoon into the middle of the cream cheese.
  3. With that same spoon spread the jam into the cream cheese and enjoy!

WaffleWaffle

Elvis on Double Chocolate

  2. Heat your Double Chocolate WaffleWaffles in the toaster oven at 400º F for 4-5 minutes. If you don’t have a toaster oven microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds, or warm in your oven for a few minutes.
  3. Once heated, spread 2 tbs. of all-natural peanut butter on to each waffle.
  4. Cover the peanut butter with sliced or mashed bananas.
  5. Sprinkle crumbled bacon bits on top of the bananas.
